Linnanmäki
The nostalgic amusement park offers an unforgettable experience, one that
includes screams of joy and trepidation, the thrill of speed and victory, the
scent of popcorn and those lovely sticky fingers you get from candyfloss.
Linnanmäki is Finland’s oldest amusement park, offering both classic rides

Linnanmäki Toy and Play Museum is open
year-round. The exhibition includes a nostalgic miniature model of the
Linnanmäki amusement park at the end of the 1950s.

Sea Life takes you on a voyage from the
tropical oceans to the Arctic Sea, stopping at the Baltic Sea along the way!
Discover strange and fascinating underwater worlds, home to crabs and starfish
as well as sharks and rays! Helsinki’s Sea Life is part of the pan-European
Sea Life network, whose aim is to enlighten visitors about the need for
protecting the sea environment and the biggest threats, such as pollution and
over fishing.

Helsinki Zoo
Situated on Korkeasaari island, the Helsinki Zoo presents animals from the
Arctic tundra to the tropical rainforests. Outside you can admire the animals in
all seasons. During the summer you can reach the zoo by ferry departing every
quarter hour from the Market Square or Hakaniemi Market.

Helsinki Play Cave
The former floorball center under Hakaniemi square has been transformed into
an adventure park with entertraining and instructive attractions for the whole family.
Children may climb, jump, skip, bounce, glide - and practice balance, precision,
creativity and aiming. All in a playful and merry way. The Play Cave's 1000 m³
area provide characters and activities for everyone interested in building and playing
ans is completed with
Lego playground.

Heureka, the Finnish Science Centre
Heureka is a fascinating destination for all ages. Interactive exhibitions
will engage you completely, both within the exhibition hall as well as outdoors
in the science park during the summer. Everything is in three languages:
Finnish, Swedish and English. The main exhibition includes a separate section
for children.
The Verne Theatre is a unique planetarium offering 5-7 shows a day.
