The Vasa Museum
The impressive warship Vasa sank
on her maiden voyage in 1628 but was salvaged 333 years later in 1961. She has
now been restored
and can be seen with her complete lower rigging at the Vasa Museum - the

Skansen open-air museum
Skansen is the world´s oldest open-air museum. Learn about Swedish traditions
from 150 or so old buildings from various parts of Sweden, handicrafts and
workshops. Also look out for many traditional festivities and musical events. The
zoo is home to a wide range of Nordic wildlife including elks, lynx and bears as
well as exotic species from all over the world.

The Old Town (Gamla Stan)

Stockholm´s Royal Palace is unique since very large parts of the building are

Theatre, the world´s best preserved 18th century theatre, with the original
