Kylämäki Village
Kylämäki Village, a village of living history, takes you back to the rural
environment of the 1950s. Old traditions and customs become alive through
hands-on activities. Kylämäki is a museum where you can touch the exhibits,
and chickens run freely in the farmyard.
Time-travel at Kylämäki transports you even to the prehistoric era. At the
archaeological experimental workshop you can see prehistoric artefacts and how
prehistoric hunting equipments were made. At the hunting grounds you can test
how accurate the traditional bow and arrow are.

Little knight's tour at Turku Castle
Children will discover the mysteries of the medieval Turku Castle on the Little
Knights Tour and experience history in a fun and interesting way. First the
participants are dressed as Knights of the Cross and then maps leading to the
treasure are handed around. Then begins the tour around the fascinating castle,
including many stories of the life there in the Middle Ages - and eventually the
treasure will also be found. The highlight of the tour is the ceremony where
everybody is dubbed Little Knight of Turku Castle.

History and fun at Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova
Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova provides activities for the whole family. While the
adults acquaint themselves with the museum the children enjoy a special children´s
tour - safely looked after while learning as well. There are two alternatives to
choose from: The Treasure Hunt Tour, for younger kids and the Exploration tour

Zoolandia
Zoolandia, in Lieto, is a combined zoo and activity centre for the whole
family, just a 20 minute´s drive away from Turku. At Zoolandia you´ll
discover animals from all over the world, from bunnies to boas. In between,
you´ll find the aviary, sheep and of course, alligators and turtles, which
reside in the crocodile house. There are also many familiar domestic animals
to get acquainted with. The exotic terrarium, however, is forbidden
territory, as it is the home of many dangerous species, such as caimans and
poisonous snakes!

Kupittaa Adventure Park
The Adventure Park at Kupittaa offers innumerable possibilities for fun and

The Moominworld
The Moominworld is located in Naantali, only 16 kilometres from Turku. A fairytale that you can step into awaits you at Naantali´s Moominworld.
Apart from familiar Moomin characters, you can discover many familiar places
from the Moomin stories, including Moominhouse, Moominpapa's Boat, Hemulen's
House and Toffler's Path.

Moomin Shops
The delightful Moomin products are great souvenirs. You can find them at
Sniff´s Shop in Moominworld, the Moomin Post Office and the official Moomin
Shop in the old part of Naantali. Many shops along the narrow alleys of
Naantali´s Old Town also sell art and beautiful handicrafts.
