Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova Museum
A twin museum built around an excavated medieval city block combines a

Forum Marinum
A museum and a centre for maritime research with magnificient historic

Turku Art Museum
At present temporarily in the Old Observatory by architect Carl Ludwig
Engel on Vartiovuori Hill until autumn 2004. The museum houses one of the

Handicrafts Museum
An area saved from the Great Fire that destroyed most of Turku in 1827, a
genuine piece of the past with small houses and handicrafts workshops.
Decorated with the international award, the "Golden Apple" in
