Buses

The Turku City buses use an electronic ticketing system. In order to obtain a season ticket or a value card passangers need to by a special electronic card from a sales point. Single tickets and visitor's tickets can be paid for in cash on the bus. Visitor´s passes are valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase.

Ferry

The Föri ferry takes you from one side of the Aurajoki river to the other - free of charge. Frequent daily traffic from early morning until midnight all year round.

TurkuCard is a tourist card that gives you free access to many of the attractions in Turku and gives you plenty of other benefits.The TurkuCard entitles you to  free admittance in all museums of  Turku, allows you free travel on the public transport buses (with a family card, one member of the family travels free) and entitles you to take advantage of tangible benefits covering a wide host of attractions. The TurkuCard is valid for either 1 or 2 days. TurkuCards are available for example in Turku Tourist Office (Aurakatu 4), the museums of  Turku, Ruissalo Camping area, Hostel Turku as well as most hotels in Turku.
